Which vehicles are approved for UberX?

UberX requires a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Our 5-star vehicles include: MG HS (5-star, 2019), Toyota Camry (5-star, 2015), Toyota C-HR (5-star, 2017), Chery Tiggo 7 Pro (5-star, 2023), Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (5-star, 2024), OMODA 5 (5-star, 2022), and MG ZS (5-star on builds from December 2025). Our MG3 and MG ZST are 4-star — approved for DiDi, Ola, GoCatch and 13cabs but not UberX. Let us know which platform you drive for when you enquire and we'll match you to the right vehicle.

Does the MG3 qualify for UberX?

No. The MG3 currently holds a 4-star ANCAP safety rating (upgraded from 3 stars for vehicles built from April 2025). UberX requires a minimum 5-star ANCAP rating. The MG3 is approved for DiDi, Ola, GoCatch and 13cabs. If you drive for UberX, we recommend the MG HS, Toyota Camry, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, OMODA 5, or Toyota C-HR.

Which platforms are your vehicles approved for?

5-star ANCAP (UberX + all platforms): MG HS, Toyota Camry, Toyota C-HR, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, OMODA 5, MG ZS (Dec 2025+ builds). 4-star ANCAP (DiDi, Ola, GoCatch, 13cabs — not UberX): MG3, MG ZST, MG ZS (pre-Dec 2025 builds). Let us know your platform when you enquire.

Do I need my own insurance?

No. All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance included. An excess applies in the event of an at-fault accident.

Can I hire week-to-week?

Yes — we offer flexible weekly and longer-term rentals, which work out cheaper per day. Contact us to discuss rates.

Is delivery available?

Yes. We deliver to your home or a convenient location across the Melbourne metro area.
